The Executive committee will have its regular meeting on Friday, January 8 9 at 5pm at 453 S Spring St, Suite 1020. I don’t have the patience to pick out any special items, so just read the full agenda.
The Executive committee will be having a “special” meeting tomorrow, Tuesday, December 4 at 6:30pm at 453 S. Spring St., Suite 1020. Notable items on the agenda include:
- Updates: DLANC office and Boundary Change
- DLANC Website
The Executive committee is having another special meeting on Friday, October 31 at 5:30pm at Pharmaka Gallery (5th and Main). Special items on the agenda include:
- DLANC office, proposals submitted, options available
- Boundary change update, City West stakeholder meetings
The Executive committee is having a special meeting on Friday, October 10 at 5:30pm at The Exchange (114 W. 5th). Special items on the agenda include:
- Report by Patti Berman on the DLANC office.
- Planning the October board meeting agenda.
The Executive committee will have its regular meeting on Monday, September 8 at “The Exchange” at 114 W. 5th St. (I believe this is the old INMO gallery space.) Special items on the agenda include:
- DLANC office options / short term, longer term.
- Finding Budget Day representatives.
- Update on the boundary change (expanding the City West districts).
- Discussion on a bylaws change to rename the Center City East residential district to Skid Row.
- Discussion of a request for presentation on Proposition 8, the ballot initiative about same-sex marriage.
- Various other items that I believe are just meant as possible items for future Board meetings. Sorry, but the agenda is largely incoherent.
The Executive committee will be having another meeting on Wednesday, August 6 at 8pm at Angelus Plaza (255 S. Hill) in Conference Room 312. Special items on the agenda include:
- Continued discussion of 2008-2010 priorities and budgets.
- Committee assignments
- Fall master calendar/strategic planning workshop
Again, details are not on the DLANC website, but the new Executive Committee will be meeting on Thursday, July 31 at 7pm in the DLANC office at 450 S. Main. Special items on the agenda include:
- DLANC 2008-2010 priorities
- Organization of board seats and committees
- Budget 2008-2010
- New committees and existing committee structure
- Committee chairs
- Last-minute addition: Brown Act compliance, and Stanley Michael’s grievance

The Executive committee will be meeting at 7pm on Thursday, April 3, at the DLANC Outreach office at 450 S. Main St. Special items on the agenda include:
- Update on City-sponsored DLANC elections.
- Required Bylaws changes: making alternates non-elected and approved by Board of Directors. Changing to “DLANC Rules of Order” instead of Robert’s Rules of Order. (ed: I’m not sure what this means. Probably “We can’t be bothered to actually read Robert’s Rules of Order, so here’s some half-assed rules that we’ll ignore instead, except when we can use them to bludgeon someone else.”)
- 4th quarter Budget committee budget requests.
- Motions of support for projects.

- Update on South Park Block Party.
